Some photos I took today

Not all of these are necessarily spectacular; a few are just snapshots. But I'm posting them here cos it seems more appropriate than posting to spinninghead.

I took these downtown whilst waiting on my mom in the car during her shopping trip. I've wanted to photograph this tree for quite some time now, but hadn't remembered to bring my camera with me until today. I've always been intrigued by the small star-shaped balls that hang from it, and I enjoy seeing its silhouette against the dusky sky. The photos of buildings that you see are the libraries - the first one is of the Paso Robles Public Library we use today, and the second photo with a building is of the old library, which is now condemned after the 6.5 earthquake we had in 2003. It's still a beautiful building, and I'm glad the asbestos keeps them from tearing it down, because I enjoy seeing it when I go downtown.

By the way, I think I have an addiction for taking photos of trees.
