everyone, i would like to point your attention to a few things. i've got good grades, an ACT score that i'm rather proud of, an IQ of 127...i'm reasonably sure that i'm at least halfway intelligent.

so everything i just did couldn't have happened.

of all the times to lock yourself out of your house, the middle of a 17 degree night is not one of the best.

colby and i had run out to Sonic to grab something to drink during his study break (Gingerbread Blast...and yes, i'm stupid for eating ice cream during the winter, i guess, whatever), and when we got back here, i realized that my pockets were empty. so, i ran to the door, found out that i HAD locked it (which is actually kinda unusual for me) and panicked for a few seconds.

then i remembered that my window was unlocked. so, i pulled the screen off, tried to get through the window...and really, really painfully strained my left quadracep. so i basically fell out of the window. then, after the searing pain had subsided a bit, i asked Colby to give me a boost, instead of standing there and laughing like he did the last time. he did...but we have to disagree on the idea of a 'boost'. i was hoping for something to put my feet on while i climbed in...he apparently thought he should act as a trebuchet, and catapult me into the window. luckily, the footstool (which had popped out for the occasion) broke my screaming descent into my living room.

so...once i got up, let colby in, and started looking for my keys...i remembered. they were in his truck.

moral of the story:

....well, there is no moral. i'm a moron, plain and simple.
