That's ok, am currently trying to work out whether Reading is "kinda" on the way to Ware ;) You could even be chauffeur driven to da party!

Well it adds 50 miles and about an hour onto my journey each way. So I could come pick you up...not sure if you're staying over in Ware that night? Could cause issues, as I am, so if you're not, I wouldn't be able to take you back. And then it'd be pointless for me to pay petrol and you to pay pretty much same price for 1 train journey as you would for a return.

In some ways, passing your test is "permission" to go out and learn to drive.
Fluidity comes with time and hours logged.
Be comfortable and you'll be okay.

I'm mostly comfortable...building up a little confidence mostly. But then I'm more confident without someone next to me (especially the judgemental ones). Kinda the story of my life in some ways tho...double guess myself FAR too much when watched :)
