Honestly I doubt anyone reads this anymore but I realised there's no better way to remember my days so I shall post short snippets when i can.
So much has happened in the year that has passed... in fact, it's almost gonna be the start of another new 2017 year! Time really flies and though there were many memorable moments when we were overseas, I cannot say that I remember every single event that took place...
I really should have blogged more then.
Ok back to my original post.
We Walked past the swatch shop in Suntec yesterday, and saw a promotion. Decided to go in just for a quick look-see.
(Our beach plans were washed out by the rain so we ended up at the indoor playground in suntec)
Lo and behold, our window shopping became a productive one, where we left with 2 watches!
We said it was for E's p1 next year.
And well, S got one as well, since we always advocate being fair in our household.
Told E to think about whether he wanted to buy this watch or to open a new Lego but he chose the watch and so we bought it.
The only thing I managed to teach them during home-school in London was to tell the time.
Yup that's the only thing they learnt from me, heh. It was too difficult for me, this home school thingey.
Now that we are back in SG, all the teaching has been outsourced again, which means financial spending has gone up significantly as well.
Tuition really does burn a hole in the pocket.
Anyhow back to the watch... so we came home and when E saw the new Lego, he came over and told me he regretted buying the watch.
It made me upset but there was a lesson to be taught and we told him about actions and consequences, choices and regrets.
He's still young but I do hope he does learn that every decision he makes is his choice and he has to be responsible for his own actions.
Let's hope the watches will be put to good use. ;)
Blessed week ahead everyone!
