The show of ever.
So tonight was the show that I've been waiting to see for.. basically since I heard of these 2 bands.
Circa Survive and The Receiving End Of Sirens played together in Boston at the Avalon, in TREOS' hometown.
The show was absolutely nuts, we got there for the end of the Keating's set, i didn't know anything and I still don't, and then Portugal The Man went on, but for some reason they weren't as good as I imagined. I thought I'd heard them and liked, but I guess not.
Then TREOS. It was ridiculous, I was right in the middle of the crowd, like 3rd row out with Derek and Dan and Adam and Steve. It was awesome. The played both Planning a Prison Break and The Rival Cycle, but no Broadcast Quality :/
Then Circa Survive. Anthony Green is the fucking man. A god amongst men, if you will. He sings so high and so well at all times, it's redonkulous. They played great, but I don't know the lyrics to their songs so I felt like moron.
BUT! I caught a glow in the dark ball that Anthony Green and people threw out into the crowd.
That's a keeper.
Basically tonight ruled.
I learned that I love Boston, it's a great city, walking around is fun, and I plan on going often if I can on weekends and ish to visit Adam/just hang out.
