On the other hand, I really don't like Sunday evenings.

I find myself thinking of the mood icon above as a ta' rather than a smiley. That is some progress...

Of course, now that I feel that I'm almost getting somewhere with the Arabic script, they introduce ligatures. Le sigh. Lucky I have a grammatical mind - I think all this would feel completely insuperable otherwise.

Spent Saturday night at the Cave, which was, to sum things up, terribly German - Stefan was in one of his odd moods, played almost exclusively a. depressing German or German-sounding neogoth/darkwave, and b. crappy German or German-sounding futurepop/industrial. There was some guy I've never seen before guest-DJing, who played even more and even worse teutonic pompousness than Stefan did and managed to kill the dancefloor every single time he went on. I practised my brilliant wishing skills, but the best thing I got out of him was some Fields - which is far from bad, mind you, but squeezed into a set full of Diary Of Dreams, Sopor Aeternus, Lacrimosa and probably some Blutengel as well, while he was at it, it didn't do much to help things up.

We left around two, Andreas very tired and me with a headache. I hope Richard is playing on Saturday. Made a mental note to speak to Stefan about playing there.

I have to add this link to the official Blutengel site - they have to be seen to be believed. I accidentally dropped into a Blutengel concert on the last Electric Gathering, and I haven't seen anything so bizarre since Artz:Pfusch; it's really priceless, and the best thing is that it all seems to be completely in earnest - blood drinking on stage and all. I love this kind of thing.

Don't listen to the music, though, if you can help it...

Am still fiddling with the short tattered skirt, which isn't as short as it used to be - at least not on the back, left side. It has also been gifted with velvet, satin, leather and bead cross appliqués, small bits of long silky fringe, tattered tulle, lace and chiffon scraps, and there'll be more crosses, ruched satin ribbons and thin chains before I'm finished with it - at the very least. Who said less is more? That doesn't make any sense at all!

I'm going to visit Klara again tomorrow. She's been in the hospital for two weeks now, and doesn't seem to be much better - she still can't go more than a couple of yards from the door of the ward, as far as I gathered. She said the new medicine is starting to kick in, though, and I really hope it works for her.
