Guess what I bought for three crowns, approximately 40 cents, at Mickes Skivor tonight? Specimen's Returning From A Journey/Kiss Kiss Bang Bang single. Nyah nyah nyah!
Andreas found Twice A Man's Aqua Marine Drum for me, too. TAM are one of the few bands I love so much that I actually care about owning a complete collection, even if I do have the songs on other records (which is the case here). Don't think there's much missing now; a few singles here and there, and I actually haven't bought their latest - was too broke at first, and then too disappointed by their Arvika 2002 concert. I guess I will get it, though, at some point, but the older material is much more important to me.
Have had a very long, very theoretical and partly very pretentious discussion about the band tee issue with Liza and Alex today, which provided me with several new angles and views on the issue. Lots of fun and very interesting. It also gave me an idea for a Danielle Dax garment - the horror! If I ever get around to making it, it'll be very far from the usual stuff, though; I want to do a large, black-on-black bead embroidery of her face (haven't decided which picture yet) on the back of a top. Completely unshaded, with the white parts beaded (bugle beads, I think) and the black parts left unbeaded.
This may be a wee bit too ambitious for me, though, both in terms of beading skills and technique, and in terms of time and work; I don't know. I'll have to think about it. Not sure how it would turn out, either.
