[Colette sits against the back wall of her house, hugging her knees and burying her face in them. She was supposed to be strong about these things, she knew that, but there was only so much she could take before hiding herself away to grieve

[She's just taking a stroll around town when she notices Colette. And Lily, being the altruistic person she is, couldn't just walk away, so she approached Colette.]

Excuse me miss. Are you all right?

[throwshammers]

[She peeks out at her.]

Y...yes. [Tries to smile at her.] I-I'll be okay, please don't...

Let me guess, please don't worry?

[Kneels down in front of Colette.] I really can't do that. It'd nag at me all day and then I'd feel bad.

[throwshammers]

...

I-I'm sorry... [Sniffles.] I don't like to worry people... but...

[7thyearlily]

That's all right. I'd hate it if I left you alone and I could have helped. Want to tell me what's wrong?

[throwshammers]

...My best friend got sent home. [Wipes her face.] A-and my... boyfriend left before that, too. [Her voice begins to crack again.] Everybody I love keeps leaving...!

[7thyearlily]

[Smiles sympathetically. A lot of people from her world left until the point most everyone was either a kid or not even born for her.]

There, there. [Sits down beside Colette.] It's not like you'll never see them again.

[throwshammers]

B-but I don't want to stay here without them! And the others... w-what if they get sent home, too? Then I'll be all alone...!

[7thyearlily]

You won't. [Wraps an arm around her shoulder in a half hug, her other hand resting on the shoulder near her.] You'll have the friends you made here. Even if everyone leaves, you can make new friends. There's a lot f nice people here.

[throwshammers]

...Mmm...

[She sniffles some more. She knows the people here are wonderful... but it's still not the same when the people you grew up with aren't here with you.]

Everyone has to spend time from their close friends at some point. Think of it not as being in another world, but being on a trip. And when you get back from your trip, they'll be there, waiting to greet you.

[throwshammers]

I don't know how long it'll be, though... it's already been months since Lloyd left. [Wipes her face again.] And... and it was right after I got to see him again... he was gone for six months back home, and I missed him so much! And Genis... I'd... I'd wanted to spend the summer with him, but now...

You may not know, but eventually, we all go home.

We've made connections with those people, after all. Our fates are tied and eventually we'll definitely see them.

[throwshammers]

Yes. Our fates, our destinies. When we meet people and form, we'll always find a way to see them again.
