39 [Action/Voice]

[Colette sits on the couch in her house, looking out the window at the late-night drizzle. Something was awfully pleasant about the rain - it was a welcome change from the dry heat of summer, and, perhaps, in a few days there would be some new life blooming outside because of it.

Maybe that was what made her want to sing - or it could be the creativity spark going on, but it's not like she knows that. Her journal wide open, she begins to sing an old hymn from back home; an old prayer she used to sing when she felt her weakest: ]

When the dark wood fell before me
And all the paths were overgrown
When the priests of pride say there is no other way
I tilled the sorrows of stone

I did not believe because I could not see
Though you came to me in the night
When the dawn seemed forever lost
You showed me your love in the light of the stars

Cast your eyes on the ocean
Cast your soul to the sea
When the dark night seems endless
Please remember me...

get out nana, voice, event, action, colette sings, she's actually not that bad a singer
