Hair
Ug.
So somewhat of an update to my last post...
I got a call around 10am last Friday from the temp agency I have gone through a number of times for respectable jobs in the past. They called to ask if I can show up in an hour with a copy of my Social Security Card and some other information so that I can fill out some additional paperwork. They have a job opening, but don't know the specifics about the hire yet, as they have to do a background test and drug test first.
I was just glad to get a call about work. It is doing data entry for some company in the Lloyd Center area. The pay is less then what I want, but will still pay the bills. IE, people I have given resumes to, please keep poking those responsible for a call back. The job only will last 6 weeks anyways, I could use the word that I have a more real job offer down the pipe. :)
Anywhom, I just heard back this morning that while they won't know if they want me for the job until Friday, if they do want me for it, I will have to do some MAJOR chopping of the hair before it's a go. So feh I say.
That said, it is nice to get a call back. And in the cosmic order of things, before I had received a phone call about work, I had been thinking about chopping my hair again. Mainly for such a case as this, but besides that, it just felt like it might be time for something new in the hair department. *shrugs*
