I started writing my next long project, a story for the Last of Us. Been thinking of the first chapter since I finished the game, debating where to pick up and decided on years later with a rift between the two mains. I like how it's flowing out of me, which is always bad news for my other fandoms.
In actual news, I applied for a freelance writing job making questions for FINRA exams. Not sure if I'll be any good at it, but I would allow me to say that I'm a professional / published writer.
I'm also thinking about writing my first original work and sending it to publishers just so I can get the first rejection letter to frame and put on the wall. The average time it takes to get published from your first attempt is ten years. Stephen Kings first 6 books were declined hundreds of times before someone bought Carrie.
