Blaine had been looking forward to the weekend. He had been trying to figure out the most non-suspicious way to get what Wes wants. He knows that Wes might need the connection he’s established with Kurt later and it had to be kept all through the sampling or they would have gone for force instead of investing so much time and effort into this.

Kurt’s emotions were always in so much turmoil that Blaine was under constant strain to keep them under control, he was always tired and he was starting to feel a little sick and depressed himself. Although no matter how many times he’s manipulated people’s emotions before he’d never felt himself attaching to them so personally. But with Kurt sometimes it was difficult to figure out which were his emotions and which were Kurt’s and Blaine wouldn’t admit it but that scared him. Unknown things, new things scared him in general, like someone else singing a solo for the Warblers, like worrying whether Kurt was okay, wondering what would happen when he finally released Kurt from his hold.

Blaine would never admit it to himself but sometimes when he was idle, he’d wonder what would really help Kurt get over this incidence. He’d once had half a mind to tell Kurt that it was him that had come to him at night but then he’d already denied it a few times and it seemed like a cruel joke to play. Blaine still believed that Kurt had been dreaming but it still crept into his mind that there really might have been someone who had gone to Kurt.

That’s why he was careful, that’s why he was taking so long and that’s why he was glad his roommate had taken the weekend pass to go back home.

He took Kurt’s hand as they exited Warbler practice together and pulled on his hand slightly. Kurt leaned into his side as a result, the way their shoulders brushed sent a thrill to his chest and Blaine suddenly felt a little breathless.

“Kurt…”

And Blaine didn’t like the way a warmth seemed to spread from his hand all the way up to his face as Kurt flexed his hand in his grip and then tightened them in a little squeeze.

“…Stay with me tonight?”

Kurt’s step faltered but he didn’t stop walking or let go of his hand.

“I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just to be together. My roommate took his weekend pass.”

Blaine slowed down their pace letting Kurt think it through as they approached Kurt’s room. Blaine didn’t know why he was suddenly nervous as Kurt’s face remained deep in thought right up until they stopped in front of Kurt’s door. Kurt let go of Blaine’s hand and his heart sank but then just as he was about to open his door, “I’ll go get my pajamas.” And Blaine seemed to let go of the breath he didn’t know he had been holding as Kurt disappeared behind the door. When Kurt did disappear though Blaine could also hit himself on the head for not using his ability and make Kurt feel that extra edge of happiness at the proposal. Blaine knew that his heart shouldn’t be soaring at the thought that Kurt had accepted because he wanted to be with Blaine.

Kurt came back and immediately twined their fingers together as they walked to his room. They were walking faster now, the thrill of doing something out of the rulebook making them look like thieves breaking in. Kurt sighed in relief as they made it without crossing anyone’s path.

Kurt stepped to his roommate’s side of the room and drew the curtain before changing into his pajamas as Blaine put on his sweatpants. Once Kurt was done and drew back the curtains and saw Blaine topless he almost turned back around and hid behind the blue satin.

“What?” Blaine looked down at himself, “…oh.” He rubbed his head sheepishly, “okay.” He quickly took out the first T-shirt he could get his hands on and put it on, “I’m…uh…decent.”

Kurt peeked out, “Is that how you usually dress in front of Craig?”

“…Yeah?”

“Slut.”

“Hey! He isn’t gay!”

“…yet” And Blaine couldn’t contain his laughter at Kurt’s pout. He moved forward a few steps and pulled Kurt back to his own side, he wrapped Kurt in his arms and nuzzled into his neck.

“You’re too cute when you’re jealous.”

“I’m not jealous. I’m concerned over your indecency, the last time you jumped on the sofa during Warbler practice you left scuff marks and I had to scrub off the polish from your loafers.”

“You want me to take my shirt off.” He said as he kissed the side of Kurt’s neck up to his ears, “you should take yours off too. Save laundry. Be environment friendly.” Kurt yelped as Blaine nipped at his earlobes and pushed him back.
Blaine let go, realizing that maybe he’d pushed a little too much. But Kurt didn’t seem scared when he crossed his arms over his chest and huffed, “My detergent is biodegradable.” And Blaine laughs again as he tackles Kurt to the bed. He’s straddling Kurt’s hips when Kurt speaks up.

“I brought math.” He says a little sheepishly and Blaine is contemplating whether he should climb off. There’s nothing sexual about their position at the moment and Kurt’s emotions aren’t resisting his deadlock like they usually do when Kurt gets a little uncomfortable with his advances.
“Which you have the whole weekend to complete.”

“Was hoping we could do it together.”

“Need help?”

Kurt pauses for a moment before looking a little guilty, “You know…Vectors.”

“Yeah you told me about how you don’t like speeding cars when I tried to get you to ride that Go-Kart at the carnival.”

“Well excuse me. All that bumping ruins my hair!”

Blaine looks at Kurt with a fond expression on his face as he runs his fingers through his hair messing it up.

“Hey, you’re ruining my hair!”

“That would make it two things that do. One you mind and one you don’t.”

“You’re getting way to cocky.”

“And you’re not denying it.” Blaine looks at Kurt as though challenging him to deny it and Kurt just looks a little angry because he can’t come up with a comeback to that.

“Fine you’re right. I don’t really mind Go-Karts.”

Blaine chuckles as he grips into Kurt’s hair, pulling softly, careful to not hurt him but just enough to get his point across about who really is the only person/thing/whatever that can ruin Kurt’s hair and get away with it.

“You’re getting a punishment for that comment. 15 minutes make-out and then math.”

“Ten.”

“You’ll be begging for five more, I promise.”

“…Did you…just set a timer?”

Blaine chuckled as he put his phone beside the pillow, half tucked underneath it.

“Maybe…” He placed his hand on Kurt’s shoulders, one sneaking up and into his hair as he leaned down for a kiss. It was soft and chaste with pauses in between to look into each other’s eyes before diving back in. Blaine couldn’t just stick to Kurt’s lips either, the way Kurt’s eyes would flutter made Blaine want to kiss them too and so he did, the way his pale cheeks were flushed pink made him want to adore them with light pecks and so he did that too, the way the blush spread all the down the smooth column of his neck made Blaine want to follow the trail and so he did. Kurt moaned in disappointment when the timer rung out punctuated with Blaine’s frustrated grunt muffled against Kurt’s chest. He was disappointed how he couldn’t even open one button before time was up.

“That was fifteen minutes?” And Blaine didn’t know from the tone of his voice if Kurt felt it was up too fast or was much longer than expected.

“No that was…” And he turned the screen towards Kurt, still pinned underneath him, whose eyes widened.

“Twenty?”

Blaine flashed him a wicked grin before swinging his legs up and over Kurt and climbing over Kurt grabbing both their bags and fishing their homework out. He pulled Craig’s chair from his corner and placed them on a free side of his desk and waited for Kurt to join him.

Blaine watches as Kurt begins by flipping to the assigned pages and frowning slightly before drawing a triangle, then he groaned as he pushed the notebook away from him.

“I don’t really care when this boat will reach Point B.”

“Neither do I.” and Blaine would suggest continuing to before the timer set off when Kurt gets Blaine’s intentions and quickly goes back to his math problem before he can open his mouth. Blaine frowns and plays with the calculator, making smileys with the keys before Kurt kicks his shin and he grudgingly draws his own triangle. Even though he started later than Kurt they finished at almost the same time and the next few problems went without much problems until Kurt leaned in to look at his solution for the fifth problem, Kurt’s face was close to his and their knees brushed together and Blaine again felt a little enchanted, a little breathless, caught up in the moment of just having Kurt there close to him, he moves his foot over Kurt’s gently and he watches as Kurt’s face breaks into a smile. Kurt writes down a step he’s seen on Blaine’s notebook and continues from there and even though his face has moved back to crouch over his notebook he doesn’t move his leg back.

After that it gets harder for Blaine to concentrate and Kurt is actually done before he is and Kurt looks at him cheekily, “Need any help?” Blaine can’t help but remember his foot atop Kurt’s especially as Kurt wiggles his toes. Blaine slides his foot back to himself and concentrates on finishing his work. He’s aware of Kurt tidying up from his peripheral. By the time he’s done Kurt is already snuggled under the covers of his bed. He lifts the edge of the covers and smacks Kurt lightly on the ass and Kurt giggles and squirms to a side of the bed to give him some space. He turns off the lights and climbs in. The bed is small and Blaine needs to press close to be comfortable. He’s fine just spooning Kurt and he feels anxious as he waits for Kurt’s breathing to even out into a steady rhythm that’ll let him know that he’s asleep. Blaine slowly slides out of bed and opens his drawer. This will be easier with chloroform but then the blood will be contaminated and negates the whole argument about not using force to take the sample. He hears shifting on the bed and looks to see Kurt staring at him.

“What are you doing?” He whispers.

“Um…I was coming down with a headache and was looking for some balm.”

Kurt sat up and Blaine realized that he had been wide awake all this while as he didn’t look even a little bit sleepy, “I’ll put it on for you.” He pats the space beside him on the bed and Blaine closes the top drawer and reaches into the second and takes out the peppermint balm reserved for his headaches.

Kurt takes it from his hand and rubs it into his temple. Somehow it makes Blaine’s head buzz instead of feeling relaxed. If he’s honest with himself, he’s had a pleasant evening and the anxiety was only tainting it and once he had carried through with his intentions, the memory would be completely and utterly ruined.

Once they’ve settled back in with the aroma of herbs and peppermint surrounding them and Kurt resting against his chest this time Blaine breaks out into a sweat as Kurt traces a finger along the “69” on his T-shirt idly; neither of them within the range of sleep that Blaine would prefer.

Blaine is too aware of how that spot on his chest where Kurt breathes is much warmer than the rest, of how their legs are tangled together and how Kurt’s ankle digs into his shin, how Kurt’s shoulder blades are shape under his palm and Blaine realizes that Kurt is probably just as aware of him as he is of Kurt. It’s confirmed when he looks down to Kurt and see’s him looking up at him.

“Hey there.”

“Hi.” Kurt breathes softly back, his eyes are now a dark shade of blue and Blaine can never stop wondering at the way they change colour. Blaine is so deep into Kurt’s eyes that he doesn’t realize Kurt shifting up to kiss him until they were actually kissing and when Kurt’s fingers dig into his hip Blaine opens his mouth with a gasp and Kurt follows. Their chaste experimentation finally leading to heat and maybe a little bit desperation as their tongues battled for control.

Blaine lost his focus on Kurt’s emotion a little not even noticing how they didn’t seem to lash out against him once he’d given them some leeway, instead focusing on rolling Kurt onto his back and kissing down the column of his neck, nipping and biting until finally he’s stopped by those offensive pajama top of Kurt’s, all smooth and satin and not nearly as satisfying as Kurt’s own skin would be. Blaine should be worried about how into it he actually is and probably wouldn’t admit it to himself later but right now all he can think of is how beautifully Kurt’s smooth skin peeks out underneath the satin as he unbuttons his shirt.

It hangs open on Kurt’s shoulder when Blaine’s attention shifts to Kurt’s pants and he’s barely pulled on the elastic and down over Kurt’s hips that he feels Kurt pulling out of his grasp, lashing out against his hold retreating and hiding behind that invisible wall he’d built around himself. Even though Kurt’s body is still frigid in his hands, not yet having followed the path that his emotions are telling him to follow Blaine struggles to regain control. His hands dig into Kurt’s exposed hip leaving angry, red marks.

The result of a struggle, like this was a battle which, Blaine mused, it rightfully was and then it happened again, the moment when it stopped being a battle when his own emotions would nosily get involved and he started feeling everything Kurt was and suddenly it was as though making Kurt feel good again was integral to his own survival.

He managed to pull Kurt’s pants off and Kurt gasps and Blaine feels like he can’t breath, like he’s losing control of himself when he stretches to throw his own T-shirt over his shoulder and pins Kurt’s wrists to the bed and just kisses him, rough and banging teeth and needy tongue. Blaine knows that the way its happening is all wrong, it should be soft and sweet and loving and caring and everything romantic and wonderful that Kurt’s first time should rightfully be (or have been) and Blaine feels like he needs to give that to Kurt, owes it to him and just as suddenly the agony disappears and the desperation becomes less about victory and more about just being together, pulling each other close because feeling feverish skin on skin was essential, the press of their chest and the rhythm of their hearts and it’s all wonderful and sweet and romantic and everything Kurt deserves as they kiss, each other on their minds, no goals, no awry first times, just now, the present and the undeniable fact that they want this.

Kurt only manages to push Blaine’s sweats down to his thighs before Blaine manages to make him forget everything other than the eager rhythm of his hips, pressing hard and fast, the slide of Blaine’s cock atop Kurt’s and the mess of sweat and precum between them. Kurt lets go of Blaine’s shoulder and fists the sheets, the coolness comforting because Blaine is holding impossibly tight, crowding him and becoming just a little too much as he thrusts back up to meet Blaine. He wails as Blaine keeps grinding down relentlessly pushing a hand into his hair as though he was going completely crazy. And finally his body vibrates as Blaine growls into his neck and there’s an impossible stickiness in between them that Kurt can’t understand because as Blaine goes lax, the last desperate thrust is like a green signal and Kurt let’s go.

Kurt pants on the bed drenched and sticky and Blaine quickly scrambles up and suddenly Kurt is terrified but Blaine only reaches for his second drawer again to pull out a handkerchief. Surprisingly enough instead of going straight for the more filthy areas he swabs the cloth over Kurt’s forehead, drying his skin and some of the sweat that clings to the ends of his hair. His hair is damp and sticks out in all directions once Blaine is done and there is that soft, tender feeling in his chest again, alarming yet not nearly enough so. Blaine is glad his sports bag is just at the edge of the bed where he had thrown it after basketball practice last Tuesday and pulls out the towel there, swiping it across both their come covered bodies until they’re not terribly disgusting. Blaine can see Kurt’s eyes fluttering as he rolls the towel up and by the time he’s stuffed it under his bed along with his other abandoned laundry Kurt’s snoring.

Kurt’s finally asleep and Blaine’s heart sinks.
But he doesn’t linger on the decision to pull the syringe out along with some cotton from his drawer. Blaine prays that the initial prick doesn’t wake Kurt up. Kurt flinches as his other hand swings up to swat at where the syringe is drawing blood from his veins and Blaine just manages to put his free hand over the syringe so Kurt can’t make a horrible gruesome mess out of this.

Blaine actually sighed in relief once he was done, pressing the cotton pad to Kurt’s elbow as he hides the syringe behind his back in case Kurt wakes up. He doesn’t, not even when Blaine is creeping out the door and sneaking to Wes’s room a few doors down. He doesn’t bother with mannerism as he barges in and dumps the envelope with the syringe inside not bothering to keep it quiet because David is just as part of this great plan of Wes’s as he is.

When he finally manages to wobble back to his room, Kurt is still breathing evenly and Blaine half wants Kurt to wake up and throw accusations at him but Kurt only shifts pulling the sheets closer and balling up on one side of the bed and Blaine’s eyes are immensely heavy, the edges of his vision blackening as his head throbs. He’s just been pushing himself so hard and finally its all done and he can finally, finally take Kurt’s hand and admit that he wants to so bad without feeling like an asshole. He drops boneless on the bed, over the sheets beside Kurt. The last thing he remembers is reaching out for Kurt and he’s already drifted off before he could be sure that they’re anchored.

---------------------------------------------

Kurt’s eyes open naturally and he feels rested and wide awake as he’s comfortably snuggled in a mess of limbs, blankets and sheets, Kurt twists in what he hopes is Blaine’s arms and suddenly its like a weight is lifted off his chest and he feels at rest with the rhythmic rise and fall of Blaine’s chest. For a moment he feels a little creepy just watching Blaine like that, his mouth slightly open and Kurt uses a finger to push his lower jaw up so that it closes. Blaine jerks his head and rolls over onto the other side so he’s facing away from Kurt. Kurt squirms closer till he’s spooning Blaine throwing an arm and leg over him and suddenly Blaine grabs his arm and pulls him tighter and before he knows it Blaine is facing him again wide awake and he’s trapped in his arms. Everything is a little sticky and Kurt can feel his skin all dry and stretchy already suffering from the delay in his morning moisturizing routine.

He lifts a hand to Blaine’s face, just touching and feeling and telling himself that it’s real and maybe he’s a little overcome with emotion when he makes a brash decision.

“Come out with me today. I want to take you somewhere.”

Blaine raises his eyebrows but Kurt only traces his lips with his thumb and Blaine nods with a kiss to the tip of his thumb. Kurt knows this is the right decision.

When they finally arrive at Sue’s house Santana has half the back lawn on fire as Quinn struggles to put them out while Rachel tries to tip over glasses with her voice without breaking them. Mikes learning to play the piano (there’s a prize money for the Lima pianist competition being held next week) while Puck dozes on a lounge chair in the garden. Kurt wants to explain the situation to Blaine but seeing the expression on Blaine’s face, the one of quiet bewilderment, Kurt can feel that its quite self explanatory.

“Blaine…” He says quietly, “I’m not just a rampant queen-esque gay boy with a penchant for Burberry.” And he dashes towards a glass that Rachel has just tipped over across on the other side of the lawn, catches it before it touches the ground and then appears in front of Blaine before he can take off his coat, “I also have superpowers…”

“Super…what?”

“And this is The Super League of Slightly Weird Teens.”

“You’ve got that right Sweet Porcelain and what do you have there? A new recruit.”

“No. No. He’s just visiting.”

“Just visiting? Are you sure?”

“Yes. Yes, completely. Blaine’s normal as normal gets.” He looks at Blaine with a little laugh because Blaine still looks a little sick, “Unless you have a secret power?”

“What? What! No…uh…no. I’m just trying to adjust to what I was sure I’d never see out of a DC Comic.” Blaine drops down onto a chair and Sue frowns at him for a moment her eyebrows furrowed.

Kurt walks over to him and touches his shoulder, “Blaine…” Blaine’s brings his hand up over Kurt’s and takes it in his hands and smiles reassuringly.

“It’s kind of unbelievable.”

“Well believe it” and Kurt lifts Blaine’s chair still occupied with one hand.

“That’s kind of hot.” He sounds a little breathless and Kurt sets him down with an equally love struck look.

“…Yeah?”

“Well sweet Porcelain.” Sue looks at Kurt with another one of her self-satisfied grins completely unfazed by the fact that the boys were sharing a moment.

“You sure you don’t have a problem with Santana burning down your lawn?” Kurt snaps wanting Sue to just let him be for a moment.

Sue shakes her head, “it’s not like grass is alive. And I can say the same thing about Mr. Jenkins” Sue chuckles and Kurt wonders if it’s worth correcting her, “Anyway Porcelain, I’ve got something for you.” She says as she steers him away from Blaine and towards her bedroom, Mike’s piano rings louder, he’s moved from ‘twinkle twinkle little star’ to Mozart in the past hour.

Sue leaves him outside her bedroom while she goes in and he can hear her shuffling about, Kurt has an urge to peek inside what they’ve dubbed as ‘The Lair’ but she comes out before he can take the decision and she’s holding a long thin black box, a red sash tied in a bow around its center. She holds it out with both her hands towards him and bows; Kurt takes it with a raised eyebrow. He half expects something vicious to pop out as he pulls the knot of the sash loose but when he takes the lid off there are two long metal Sais. He takes them both out and slashes them a little bit through the air, careful so that he doesn’t hit something or worse, something. There’s a little thrill to his toes at its weight, he runs his fingers over the hilt where three Kanji letters are inscribed on one of them.

“That there says Kurt in Japanese. Custom-made it is.”

“How the hell did you afford this?”

“I guess you could say I had a very fortunate run in with the Yakuza on my trip to Brazil. I had to transit in Japan. Ah, young Yamamoto, he was a keeper.” Sue starts looking she’s having a flashback and Kurt wonders if its worth asking her why she’d need to transit in Japan to go to Brazil.

But then she seems to come out of her trance and leads him to the backyard and points to a few concrete blocks he had missed before, probably because Santana’s line of fire is on the other side of the yard.

“Well, test them out.”

And Kurt looks at her unbelieving for a moment and then shrugs and go for it.

He tries to take it slow, but the rush from the crack of the first concrete block sends him to turn on the other six in a flash and before he knows it he’s standing amidst a pile or rubble and everyone sort of stares at him. He hides his happy smile at the way Blaine is looking at him awestruck.

“These are great!” And he can’t contain his excitement as he jumps up and down and squeals like - he would probably protest profusely at the term - a girl. He rushes to Blaine and wraps his arms around him, “That was the first time I didn’t need to hold back!” He babbled and was relieved when Blaine’s hands came up to his waist, “Yeah, that was amazing, baby.”

“Well Sweet Porcelain glad to see you’re ecstatic over your new toy. I might have list of things you can use them on. We should start with the letter W” she pushes a broom into his hand, “But first…”

Kurt takes the handle, too happy at his new gifts to be annoyed at Sue as he starts to pile the rubble together.

“You think you can melt the rubble together Fiery Fakeboobs? To make like…you know one big recycled cement block.”

“What are you going to do with a huge cement block?”

Sue smirks.

--------------------------------------------

“You know I honestly thought you’d be scared of me or something.”

“Well…I am a little wary, I won’t lie.” But mostly Blaine just couldn’t stop beating himself over how he hadn’t noticed. Kurt was very proficient at hiding his strength but there were tell-tale signs he hadn’t noticed. After all he had moved the leather sofa in the Senior Commons when Trent and Thad were sitting on it with one hand last Warbler practice, “But you’re still Kurt” He finishes.

“All I can say is that I’m so glad you reacted the way you did.” Blaine smiles as he thinks of the problems this will lead to and the huge risk he was running by being going solo into this whole mission. But planning this operation wasn’t his job, it was the Council’s and he dreaded telling them that there were a handful of teen superheroes behind Kurt. And that too he hadn’t found out what that strange woman, Sue could do.

He’s roused out of his reverie when Kurt squeezes his fingers.

“I know this might be too much for one day but we don’t another weekend pass till next month and I’m feeling a lot of courage today…” Kurt’s tongue darts out to lick his lips, “Blaine Warbler welcome to my home.” And Kurt outstretches his hand towards the house they stopped in front of.

“I’ll have to meet your dad?!”

“…And Carol…is this going too fast?”

Blaine took a deep breathe, “It’s scary. Scarier than having a boyfriend who could squash me to pulp.”

“Oh Blaine I would never squash you to pulp but I can protect you when my dad tries to.” And Kurt smiles evilly as Blaine groans.

“You are not helping! Popping one surprise after another!”
“Oh shush. He’ll love you…well tolerate you. Carole will love you.”

“Do we have to?” Blaine whines as he allows Kurt to drag him to the front door.

“Not really. But I have to tell my dad something.” And Blaine straightens up because Kurt looks very serious all of a sudden as he rings the doorbell.

“I heard confessions are easier when it all comes out at once.”

Burt opens a door and his face breaks out into a smile, “Buddy! You didn’t say-

Kurt raises his hands to silence his dad, “Dad, I have a boyfriend and I have superpowers.”

“You have WHAT?”

“Superpowers.”

Burt ignores him completely and points at Blaine, “Is it this guy?” Blaine feels like strangling whoever told Kurt confessions should be made in one go.

“Where’d you meet him? At school? I knew an all boys school was a bad idea! Didn’t I tell you Carol? Didn’t I say? It’s a bad idea!” And Carol came to his side immediately nodding and rubbing his back trying fruitlessly to placate him.

“Are you sleeping in the same room?” And before Kurt can answer he holds up his hand, “Wait don’t answer that. I don’t want to know it. You’re not allowed to sleep anywhere but in your own room and alone in your bed. Only your roommate is allowed to be in the room with you. Wait a minute! Are you two roommates. Because then you’re either transferring or breakin-

“Dad. Dad! DAD!!” Kurt holds his shoulders hard and Burt takes a deep breathe, “I tell you that I have superpowers and all you care about is the fact that I have a boyfriend.”

“Well superpowers aren’t gonna get ya…”

“Pregnant?”

“In trouble and doing stuff I don’t want my seventeen year old son to be doing.”

“I’m not doing inappropriate things!” And it’s a little funny the way Kurt’s face goes a little red at the lie Blaine suppresses a chuckle, “So you’re not even a little bit stumped by the fact that I’m a superhero?”

“You’re not a superhero.”

“I knew you wouldn’t believe me.”

“Oh I know you have superpowers. Doesn’t make you a hero.”

Kurt grumbled, “How do you know?”

“I always knew! I’m your dad! You know how many times you broke my finger as a kid and don’t think I don’t know what you did to Finn.” Kurt mumbles under his breathe that it was an accident, “Hey Buddy I know you can deal with superpowers but a relationship…” He turns to Blaine and holds his hand out, “I’m Burt Hummel Kurt’s dad. I believe we haven’t met.”

Blaine lets out a breathe he didn’t know he had been holding and takes the hand offered.

“Blaine Warb-Anderson. Blaine Anderson. Pleased to meet you.”

--------------------------------------------

“Wes I’m so glad you’re in today.”

“Of course I am. I had to tell you the good news myself. After all it’s a breakthrough we couldn’t achieve without you.”

“What?”

“The blood sample you gave me this morning, worked like a charm. I’m ecstatic and you’re getting as many solos you want this year.”

“You make it sound like I follow your orders for solos.”

“Oh?”

“Then why do you follow my orders?” Wes asks in a challenge and Blaine wants to tell him how badly his dad wants to stay in the good books of Wes’s family but it sounds stupid out loud and Wes probably knows it already.

“Congrats on the success of the experiment but if you want your little plan to succeed you’d better know that Kurt has superpowers. Strength and Agility and he has friends.”

“Friends?”

“Also with superpowers. Fire, Ice and I think one of them was a sonic boom.” Wes looks at him contemplatively.

“McKinley friends?”

“Yeah and they’ve formed some sort of League. I don’t even know what all of them do and I don’t know if there are more.”

“Well you’ll find out, right?”

“You mean ask Kurt?”

“Isn’t that the easiest way?”

“Yeah I guess…”

“Great.”

Blaine turns and heads for the door.

“and Blaine?”

“Yeah?”

“I expect you to break up with him.”

“Break up? Why? Don’t you need-

“I know what I need. And I need you to not get deep into this.”

“But-

“Blaine. Find out what we need and then tell him you can’t take his reality and break up. Unless you’re already deep into this?” And Wes raises an eyebrow and Blaines shakes his head.

“Of course not.”

“Well then there’s no problem.”

Wes turns to David when Blaine walks out of their room, “David…”

“Yeah?” David sits up from where he’s lounging on the bed.

“You kept her number right?”

“You mean the guinea pig’s?”

“Yes.”

“Yeah…I have her general details.”

“Good. Call her. We need to test the degree of our success and size up our enemies.”

‘You should know that while I find you totally hot when you have that creepy smile on your face, I’m mostly terrified.”

Wes laughs.

“That makes it worse.”
