Twenty-Four
Ryo's apartment is how it should be; barely furnished and dust covered. Its hardly used because he lives at headquarters but its there just like his own more composed apartment is, for show and for a sense of identity. Right now it has cash, clothes and biscuits.
They dash in and out and back on Yamashita's bike, Toma's hand is on his shoulder and the posture is less intimate because he's cradling a bag full of supplies in one hand and its more the odds and ends of the bag that is pressing into his back than Toma. But his calming aura is ever present and the bag just instils a sense of surety.
They need a place to stay and a place to plan, to think and to rest without the fear of being found out.
It's lucky that when you're in this business long enough you gather enough favour to help you in times of dire need.
Twenty-Five
It's a sleazy motel on top of an even sleazier bar. Most people staying the night here are with whores. It's not like he's an exception but somehow when he leads Toma up the stairs with a few appreciative glances at his 'catch' he feels a little queazy and he's ashamed of bringing Toma here.
He can't afford anything else though and Toma snuggles into the bed just as easily as if it were his luxurious room back at headquarters.
"I met your Shachou in a place like this" He says as he rolls to the side of the narrow bed and makes space for him.
Jun feels sick and sleeps on the floor.
A/N: I have to admit this series is gonna be a horrible HORRIBLE PG-13 at best **sigh** And Toma is a whore here. I'm wasting a perfect opportunity really.
Another apology to those who might have seen my AWFULLY backdated masterpost. I just don't have the time :(
