Starting off the new year...

Hope everyone had a great christmas...I know I did, made out like a bandit with gifts and I hope all of mine were enjoyed too.

Here's the deal, i got a job offer/interview thing to go to for ADT as a dispatcher...paid training at 9.15 an hour for a month then probably more once i actually begin on my own. Problem is, they're looking for full time, weekends and they're not lookin too flexible with college students. I'm able to work a late afternoon/evening shift but i'll miss out on tae kwon do and I NEED THAT! The only day i'd be able to go is the day or two i have off every week and possibly a saturday, but who knows if i'm going to have to work then or not.

Positives here are easily seen...if anyone here knows me, I get sh*tty pay at the Child development center...this is about $3-4 more per hour doing computer stuff. I think i should be getting that anyways at the center since i'm lookin after HUMAN LIVES TO BEGIN WITH! Woah.. Anyways, in order to work i'd have to drop 2 classes and replace them with computer courses. That shouldn't be too hard cause i got a B in the last computer course i took and I didn't do crap.

Other news: gettin to be that stressful time of completing all my applications for grad school. Hopefully Saralyn and I will both get accepted into Virginia Tech (personal favorite). She's got a great contact in Dr. Marcon at UNF and I've got a child psychologist named Dr. Ybarra who is helping me out.

Had fun with Saralyn, Liz, and Paige (w/her new beau) at the movies last night. Peter Pan wasn't bad, I just wish i was younger when i saw it. Looking forward to new years in O-town with everyone, getting that job, going to VIRIGINIA WITH SARALYN!, and whatever lies ahead.

Lightning Play tonight...GO LIGHTNING!!!!!!!!!!

Peace,

GG
