I LIKE THAT I GET TO TALK TO YOU. I LIKE THAT WE HAVE ACTUAL FACEBOOK FRIENDS IN COMMON WHICH IS HILARIOUS. I like that you can easily participate in dress like amber week. I LOVE that you are vulnerable and take risks for your personal and professional life--that's something I want to be able to do someday but am too scared to do now.
You are so super interesting and you have that amazing radio voice. I love your audio posts and your travel stories and your tales of working in politics. Also, I never told you this but I'm pretty sure your tumblr shamed in into learning the difference between em and en dashes, and I am so glad I did. One of these days we'll hang out, be it in Chicago or in Boston!
Ugh, knowing the difference between em and en dashes (and hyphens!) is essential. Especially for a punk-ass book jockey like yourself, I should think. And so few people do! (I admittedly only confirmed the truth for myself about a year ago, but at least I knew not to use a damn hyphens or extra spaces...)
I...actually probably do. I was really into trading bootlegs and things back in college. Her solo stuff isn't exactly genius, but she's got a few good songs, and any cast album she is on is probably pretty damn good.
I admire the way you know what you want in your career, and you keep going after it. Your stories are really interesting and a peek into a world that is so, so fascinating to me.
I loved getting to meet with you to eat calzones and talk politics. I was so impressed with the political work you have done and I'm sure you will continue to have a fantastic career.
That was awesome and you made me want to learn more about Australian politics so that next time I don't sound like an ignorant American (despite having been a PS/IR major back in college)...
We don't really know each other, but I always notice and enjoy your recs at het_reccers and crack_van, so thank you for being awesome and sharing the love! <3

Also: don't be scared! You're, what, 23? Way to young to be bored and frustrated and jaded about the adult world. Something about jumping off cliffs!
(And seriously, call me if/when you want to jump into the politics. I've got a friend in Dallas who keeps getting calls from Wendy Davis!)

I enjoy all of your political stories. I hope that you grow up to be even better than Sam Seaborn.

Also, I like to think that I wouldn't trip and accidentally sleep with a hooker. I might start a fire in a very historical room, though...
