Licorice, in general, is gross. I grew up with Twizzlers but I never liked them.

The only worthwhile licorice is cherry shoelace licorice. That, I will eat like sweet, delicious spaghetti.

You didn't ask me, but I'll assist popgurlie in her absence. Shoelace licorice is a really thin licorice that is softer in texture and comes in long strands. I will defend Red Vines forever in Red Vines vs. Twizzlers argument, but shoelace licorice might be better than either of those.

I'm more for the strawberry ones, but shoelace licorice is definitely a cause I can get behind.

OOH YES! i forgot about strawberry flavored shoelace licorice. that, too, is delicious!

i'm poking around and apparently it's only made in strawberry! i must have imagined cherry, but i did not imagine its deliciousness :)
