I sent work samples and resume out to another company today...in an effort to land an internship.
yesterday, I spent $50 on 20 sheets pf printer paper (13'x19") so that my portfolio will look more uniform, this suggested by my advisor
the day before i had a short but quite fulfilling hour-long relationship, captured on film. ooh la la and got lost in the darkness and fog on my way home from a defensive driving class. the irony. we talked about driving in fog in great detail that night, but that doesn't help me see in it any better.
the day before that was my birthmother's birthday. my (step)mom said that my dad went and put flowers on her grave and that she was glad that he did. that makes me smile for two (2) reasons. 1). my dad is secure enough in his relationship with my (step)mom to put flowers on my mother's grave and 2). my (step)mom is secure enough in their relationship to be glad that he did it instead of angry or jealous.
ive decided on the content for my book for the senior show (i think) I have gathered snippets from random lj entries from the past couple of years and am going to pair them with photos. I have a more complex idea as far as pages that fold out, etc, that I can tell you about in person :) Every idea that i came up with i was either unimpressed with myself or the prof asked 'where's the meaning, shmeaning?' this is interesting, tells a story and therefore has meaning. 2 points! (yesssssssssss)
