25 Unicorn Street- Saturday morning

Kitty had fully intended to stay in bed and sleep until either someone physically came to get her, or she got hungry. Whichever came first. It wasn't even that she was tired, just lazy. So she rolled over to find a new comfy position... and there was a boy there. A boy she didn't even know. He definitely didn't go to the Xavier School

Clint had been happily asleep when the shriek happened, and he sat up quickly in the bed, his hands immediately going to a defensive position. "What was that?"

"What are you doing in my bed?" Kitty demanded, though... this didn't actually look like her room. Though she knew she hadn't gone to any strange rooms overnight...

"What are you doing in my bed?" Clint shot back, his brain working on autopilot as he looked around. He wasn't sure exactly where he was, but he wasn't about to be questioned while he was still getting his bearings without being a jerk about it.

"I asked first!" But seriously this was totally not her room. There wasn't a single poster anywhere and Illyana's bed wasn't there, but she was still freaked out by that wake up so she was gonna ride this out.

"I was sleeping until someone woke me up," Clint said, relaxing a little with no immediate threat. "Did something wake you up?"

"Yeah, morning," Kitty answered. "Okay, how about this: who are you?"

"I'm Clint," he said, looking her up and down. At least she was cute, so she had that going for her. "What's your name?"

"Kitty. So we have that covered," she decided. "And how did you get here again?"

"Um. I needed a place to crash and you were nice enough to offer one?" he said with a little uncertainty. Maybe if he looked cute too, she'd take pity on him and go with the lie?

Well he was cute. But still.

"I am 100% sure that didn't happen," Kitty said. "Of course this also doesn't look like my place. Were we kidnapped overnight?"

"I don't know. I don't think so? But this isn't my place either. Do you get kidnapped often?" He was at least partly kidding, he hoped.

"I mean, it's happened," Kitty said, casually. Being an X-Man was still new and things like that hadn't started scarring her yet so she could still brag about it. "Should we investigate? Maybe the others are around somewhere."

Clearly if this was an X thing they had picked Clint up from somewhere, because that was how things like this worked.

"Sure. Better than just sitting around here, I guess," he said. Clint glanced around the bed, and grinned when he spotted his jeans. "We should probably be fully dressed to investigate, yeah?"

Kitty wasn't really bothered with what she was wearing, but she didn't want to be the only one going around in pajamas, so she shrugged and went to the closet.

"Ugh. It's all so boring."

[so_hawkward]

"Somebody really likes purple," he said, peeking over her shoulder. If it gave him a reason to be closer to her, well, that was a bonus.

"It's all plain," Kitty complained, looking through the things on the hangers, and pulling one thing from the closet. "Are these leather pants with holes in them? That is awesome."
