And so it goes....

my weekend in a nut shell:
-all the roomies were gone for the weekend.
-thank goodness brit came to vist for the entire weekend.
-the neighbors were gone (unfortunately).
-went shopping to bayshore...spent to much...as always.
-stood at the bus stop in the rain for 15 min...not cool.
-went to water street brewery for a fish fry. it was pretty good. no maple inn...but still sufficient.
-walked to MSOE by kyle and headed back to my place.
-sat around had some wine and beer. caught up on life. it was nice.
-brit and i went to play midnight bingo. hahaha. won nothing. but you gotta love bingo.
-got home around 2 and slept in for a change. it felt great
-woke up sat around, chatted a bit, caught up some more. got ready for the day.
-went to lake park to watch kyle play rugby. i'm not going to even pretend i had a clue what was going on. because i defiantly did not. but it was interesting. i wouldn't mind going to more and actually understand the game.
-got some food at midpoint, and had the best burger and fries i've had in quite sometime.
-went to the "rugby" house for the after party. kyle said that it's not really a place for girls but he had confidence that us brittany's could handle it.
-he was right there were 2 other girls to make it a total of 4 and about 40 male rugby players. and i will say it was probably the most interesting thing i've experienced in a long time. very long time.
-i witnessed my first official boat races. and can honestly say that is one drinking game i will never be playing.
-had a wonderful awkward conversation with a guy about my tattoo and religiousness. nice guy but that was just a little much for me. which could be why he told me i didn't have to be nervous. ha
-got asked to flash in order to start the next round of boat races. brit and i both graciously declined.
-saw a running man with a hat and bunny ears, another one with the shortest possible shorts ever, and another one wearing a kilt. their shirts said "we are a drinking team with a running problem". yup...interesting.
-had a conversation about good wines and what an awful hangover it will give you.
-was asked to sit in a chair for one of the "rugby" traditions. once again graciously declined.
-saw three naked men run around a house, get ketchup, syrup, and other condiments thrown on them, give lap dances to 4 rookies who were sitting in the chair that i was asked to sit in, and run back up the stairs into the house. uh yeah a little more then i bargained for
-met the most gorgeous man (he had long hair pulled back in a pony with a bandanna on) named curtis. he was crazy and from northern michigan and had the absolute best smile i have ever seen. no lie. ATTRACTIVE!
-listened to numerous rugby chants and songs and even participated in one with brit and the one other girl there, thanks to some encouragement from curtis. we had to yell "if you have a cheese grater, strap it to your arm, shove it up a pussy and make pussy parmesan" (good thing curtis was so attractive, other wise i would not have been saying that)
-met a couple really cool other people, and really enjoyed myself
-ruby party ended, gave these guys a ride back to their house in the Marquette area, hung out there awhile
-came back to my place for some pre-gaming with brit kyle keaton and dillon. played some good old speed quarters. had a blast.
-josh came and we headed off to kyles b-day party, it was nothing special. just alright
-and the rest of it is history.

oh just some of my fav quotes form the weekend:
-"we're brittany" - brittany (and that we are. don't mess with b-squared. although it is embarrassing introducing ourselves to people when we have the same name. it always confuses people)
-"zip the lip and move your shirt" - some guy on the rugby team yelling that to another guy who was bitching. me and brit just about died laughing
-"i'm really glad slow people are attracted to us" - brittany (it's more of a joke between us two than anything)
-"well we are pretty manly" - me "well i wasn't going to say it but your not really girly or anything" - kyle haha, what a moment
