so, I'd have to say that today was one of my better days....minus being awake at 630 when I didnt have to get up until 9...I had a really ride today (pat came up from Florida to teach a clinic) On my way to riding this morning i was thinking, "hmmm, Mary said she was going to be coming home sometime in october...and i know a lot of college kids are coming home this weekend....omg Mary might be riding today!" so that got me excited. I love Mary. We usually ride together on saturdays...but since she left for college in August, I feel like I havent seen her in a million years. So as we were all cooling out going for a walk down the drieveway, i turn around and see a car, and I was like heads up guys mary's coming...and inside I thought "MARY'S COMING!!! :-D" so we get back to the barn and of course shes standing there waiting for me. So that made my day right there, being able to see her. There are only a few girls in this world I can truly enjoy being around. Shes not the typical person youd think id be friends with....but anywho....so we talked for a little bit, and I told her we should hang out once shes done riding and whatnot. She was all excited so thats what we did this afternoon/evening. But just being able to see her for a few minutes would have been enough to complete my day.
Things have been so different around the barn since shes been gone. Its been quiet, a little too quiet. I miss her loud, boisterous voice and laugh. but yeah, so I had a very decent day, but now its raining, im laying here, all alone. Jeremy is in Rockland, again. So I dont have anyone to cuddle with. =( oh well, he'll be home tomorrow and said hes gunna stop at the barn tomorrow on his way home if im still working. So yay! And Mary's coming up to ride Wheels..so I wont be too lonely tomorrow. (even tho Karen is hosting a show so theres gunna be a ton of people hanging around) But my tummy is full of yummy pad thai, so Im getting tired, and ive to get up at 530, so I think its time for me to try and get some sleep...
