My health is failing me.

I've neglected the needs of my body in favor of it's desires for far too long. I don't quite know why, but whatever I contracted from Alicia is ravaging me. My sinuses are congested, the slightest breath sets off a coughing fit, and every once in a while I suffer splitting headaches. I've been dosing up with echinacea, zinc sulfide, vitamin C, Contac, and acidopholis, but I have yet to feel noticably better. What's more, it turns out that I've inherited my mother's gluten sensitivity (for those who don't know, gluten is an amorphous ergastic protein found combined with starch in the endosperm of most cereals. It constitutes about 80% of the proteins contained in wheat and is composed of the proteins gliadine and glutenine. Gluten is responsible for the elasticity of kneaded dough which allows it to be leavened, as well as the "chewiness" of baked products like bagels.*) So in order to be 100% healthy, I'm supposed to only be eating gluten-free food, and avoiding cow milk as well. The advantage of this is that I'm not paying for my groceries anymore. However, I've also been prescribed an "anti-fungal" which is supposed to destroy yeast excess and so on and so forth. Since yeast is the ingrediant used to transform sugar in alcohol, I'm not allowed to drink anything except distilled liquor. Which leaves me with vodka, at least.

I should be looking for a job right now. My old boss provided me with the phone number of a painter who's looking to hire some helpers, but to be honest, painting just isn't my bag. It's a good skill to have, but having seen what the life of a master painter is like, I must respectfully decline. Josh and his father have both been a huge help, and in fact there's a chance that I'll be working with Josh in the chipstand. But we'll see. A number of options are open to me, and I've barely scratched the surface. But all this will have to wait until I've regained enough strength to make a good impression.

Lastly: Hey! Hey friends! We should hang out sometime.
