Here it is, suckers.
-I've got a job. Two, actually, but unless something changes drastically, I'd rather be a salesman making $500-$3000 a week than a "Pin Chaser" at a bowling alley. Monday and Tuesday are training, then after that I'll be working from 1pm-9pm five days a week. Sweet.
-I can't get my driver's license unless I manage to get my Quebec learner's permit extended. BUT AT LEAST NOW I KNOW. Besides, driving is overrated. Walking keeps you in better shape. And what's more, I've got the book now, so at least I have the option of learning all those whiny-little-rules-of-the-road-that-no-one-cares-about-except-for-the-guy-who-decides-whether-you-get-your-license-or-not.
-Come mid-May, my grandmother is leaving for her cottage again. To all of those who hung out with me last summer, this is the same deal: I get the whole fucking apartment to myself. This means PS2 at all hours of the night, Jamaican Showers galore, nights spent camped out on my balcony, and plenty of alone time for myself and the beautiful Ms. Christina Ip. Speaking of which:
-I have a relationship that's going damn well. Though we only get to see each other once or twice a week, this is made all the more bearable by the knowledge that as time goes on, we'll be able to spend more and more time with each other. It feels more natural to me than high school relationships where you're expected to spend every minute of free time with your significant other.
-And last, but definitely not least, come June I'll be moving in with Justin "Sublime" Matthews, the wise-beyond-her-years Alisha Sayle, the eccentric Rakan Al-Dhafiri, with whom I get along extremely well, and possibly some guy called Dave who works at 7-11. The latter, I'm not so keen on, but the thought of living with the others floats my boat to new heights. Some of the houses we've been looking at have pools, saunas, whirlpools and hottubs. It's okay to be jealous.
Effin' right. Alright, I'm off to go meet Rak and smoke a doobie. Till next time, my lovelies.
