It's just a warning from personal experience: be careful not to make the goals of an organization your only goals. If you break with them for whatever reason, it's an identity loss that's hard to recover from, that's all.

I am more concerned in the journey towards peace than speculation on how I will ultimately spend my life after the destination. It is unlikely that I can acclimate myself into everyday population afterwards anyway.
