Moviegasm Reminder
Hello all you good people of the world!
I'm posting this to give you a reminder that S and I have scheduled the next Moviegasm for Saturday, April 5th.
I'm not prepared yet to give you a complete list of movies that will be available for voting. Because this 'gasm is partially a birthday celebration, the theme was easy for us to choose: "Michael and Samantha's Favorite Movies." We have wildly varied tastes, so the selections will be variegated and interesting. There are some feel-good classic movies that are sure to be enjoyed. Some of the food tie-ins we've considered, for example, include "Iocaine Powder Punch" and "Bad Dates", and if I have to tell you what movies those are from, come out from under the rock you've been hiding under and partake of some pop culture from the last few decades.
This 'gasm will be a potluck, and we'll have both the grill and the Chocolate Fountain going early in the day. There will be shish kabobs, both with and without meat and onions. There will be Boca burgers and all-beef hamburger patties and grilled mushrooms, mmmmm.
We've oiled That Damned Door (you know the one) and replaced the old coffee maker with one that actually works. We're moving the old television upstairs, so if the usual suspects want to continue to bring their Wiis and Playstations, you'll be in a different room than usual. I think we're prepared. Please mark the date on your calendars, and please please please spread the word. Don't bother to ask me if you can bring friends--the answer is pretty much yes.
