What's going on?
It's been quite a while since I posted here; I guess I should mention what I've been up to.
- I got the micro-blogging religion; it's basically like IRC only you get to meet more people. My stuff is here.
- With the post-Christmas sales, I've been growing (I prefer the term 'curating') my Playstation game collection, scouring bargain bins looking for games I'd heard of, and could remember good reports of. Times like that, I wish I had internet on my phone so I could look up review scores, oh well. One day, I hope to get around to actually finding out for myself which games are good.
- Work has been hilariously boring - after the big rush of last year, it seems head office has totally forgotten our little outpost exists. I'd like to use the quiet period to "make, do and mend", but I'm sensing that might be an unpopular attitude. We'll see, I guess.
- Last weekend, I finally got around to buying a copy of Little Sound DJ, which has been on my shopping list for about two years now. I spent this last week learning how to use it and (more importantly) teaching myself the basics of music composition. Having had no real musical training, it's been fun running out of ideas then listening carefully to my music library to figure out what other people have done. Here's my week's best effort.
