fanmix: HP, Tom Riddle/Harry Potter, hissingsounds
INTRO:
So I had this fanmix poll, right? And, a few days ago, ziarenete13x suggested Tom/Harry and said I would get undying love if I managed it. And, you know, who doesn't want undying love? heh. I had to give it a shot. At first I was all, "oh, this is going to be such a challenge, so much work, it'll take ages," but apparently my brain didn't really agree with me as this was actually... disturbingly easy to work out. Apparently it was just sitting around in the back of my head, waiting for me to make it or something.
I've not read much Tom/Harry but I have read a few -- they were, as far as I can remember, only the AU CoS sort wherein book!Tom came back to life and, uh, "stuff happened" variety, though. So that's sort of how my song choices were skewed. But I really think that most of these completely awesome tracks would probably work for just about any variation of the pairing. Maybe. ::shifty eyes:: I hope so anyway.
Lots of strings. I didn't even intend for that but... yeah, lots of strings throughout these tracks. It's very nice, I think. Fitting. There's also, for some reason, a lot of electronics going on. I don't really know why but it seemed to work for the moodiness I was going for. ::coughs:: Speaking of moods: The whole shebang is just generally... well, pretty fucking creepy, yeah? Like, even the songs that are sort of not creepy are creepy. I think that's mostly just to do with the subject matter though. ;)
um. uh. Oh! Right, so, I usually try to do some sort of storyline because, you know, I'm obsessive that way, but there's not really one with this. But I really like it anyway. It's sort of... instead of building, it's just boom right there from the start. In all its highly questionable, entirely awesome glory. The perspective goes back and forth. But, like, not in order or anything -- I leave it up to you to realize which for which. You will be tested, this will be 70% of your grade.
All tracks are mp3. And, uh... that's it. Right. I hope you like! I would absolutely love it if people would comment to let me know they took but, you know, obviously I can't make you do it -- all I can do is sit here and make pleading eyes and whimper pathetically. heh.
