After a short brush with a reminder as to why it is so incredibly important for me to put my healing, wise choices and self-awareness above all else, I'm having a great week! ALl of life is a transition. You don't stop until you're dead. I've learned that everything is transient, whether it is good, bad or neutral, so it is fine never to be finished. Being always in a state of becoming is pretty much the definition of being alive.

That's an astute point, and one I've been considering ever since you posted. Life truly is one big transition, though I suppose I'm looking at this as a specific transition by choice time I'm going through. :)

You might find it useful to look on Youtube for talks given by the Venerable Dhammasami, aka "the Oxford Sayadaw". He is the Buddhist Chaplain for Oxford University, and a very astute and rational man. He doesn't try to convert people, but does have sensible things to say about the basic practice of mindfulness, which you might find helpful.

I would not personally recommend trying to engage in serious insight meditation without a proper teacher, since that is built on Buddhist ethics and insight, which are not for everyone. Acceptance of one's own impermanence can be difficult for people brought up in a cultural ambience predicated on the desire for personal immortality.

Your gummy looks and sounds wonderful. May I ask what quadrant of town you're finding it in?

Thank you! I really, really enjoy them. They kick in at a predictable time, they aren't too spendy (ends up being about $2 per gummy), and I feel ebullient! These are found in SE very near to 42nd and 39th. Tetra! :)

Thanks. I've located a source in my own neck of the woods and will soon be giving them a try!
