But it was when I was half asleep. So now it's one question. And this is supposed to be a poll

I'm interested in which spelling appeals, and why (if you want to share). No idea of context for it yet. ;) I've not been writing much new material other than some chunks of rewriting for Surprised At Nothing. The editing process with Dreamspinner has been very supportive and insightful. Partially because I had no idea whether or not they'd pick it up, I submitted the story in a somewhat half-baked fashion, and am going through the somewhat painful process of remedying that. Painful in that I want to say, "This wasn't the caliber of story I wanted you to get first! But- I had no idea if you'd say yea or nay, so I sent it on." Thankfully I'm now bringing it to the level of quality I'd want to present, and the motivations for the characters is at last clear in my own mind. Over the next several months I'll be writing and hopefully submitting the sequel to Surprised At Nothing, and also making real headway on the edit and major rewrite and completing a coherent story arc for Defender of the Way. My heart is a bit more with that one because to me the world-building is so much more unique, but now that I've spent way more time with Reggie and Kelp and others in the Surprised At Nothing world, I can see at least 3 novellas for them. We'll see how the Dreamspinner audience reacts. Rest assured that when I have a release date, you'll all know. :D
