After this batch is grown, I'm separating those baby factories

So, two days ago I was checking on the birds in the evening before class, and when Lemondrop got off the nest there was a little pink thing flailing around. I gave it a few drops of formula and snapped the following picture: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/thriggle/The%20Twins/100_1091.jpg

(As I told Jodi, the little guy would fit on my thumbnail.)

This morning, this fuzzy photo was used as evidence that a new chick had hatched: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/thriggle/The%20Twins/100_1094.jpg

Later today, when I checked on the birds I saw that one of the hatchlings was on the floor of the cage (but still very lively). I scooped him up and put him in the nest with his sibling, then mixed up some new formula to feed the two of them. Here's a picture of me feeding them: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v619/thriggle/The%20Twins/100_1096.jpg

I fed them again a short while later, and while Lemondrop was still off the nest (eating bread) I took this video: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v619/thriggle/The%20Twins/?action=view¤t=100_1099.flv

(Don't worry about the little guy who's stuck on his back, feet kicking the air; I flipped him over onto his belly when I was done filming.)
