A Thrift Horror event

How many times have people said they would have bought horrible candles just to watch them burn?
I've done it for you.

Monday I found a bag of "Clown's" for $1.50 marked down from $2.50.
Two of them are candles. The one on the left is unhappy and has all kinds of lines on his face. The next one is pulling a scarf out of a hat. The middle one is actually a signed art piece. I'm keeping it. The next one is pewter, the last is going to bean you with a baseball.
So.. we set the stage. Candles on fireproof plate, camera on tripod.
Cheerfully, these little scamps meet their destiny.
Ohhhh high flames!
Starting to get some good glow, here. Redpants says: "I got to quit drinking, my head is killing me."
Wax spillage! Sadly, Redpants leaked to the back.
There goes an eye!
And the other one!
... and he's barfed...
There goes Redpant's eyes and you can see some of his wax puddle.
Ewwww
Good glow here
Redpant's head went all at once
Into his chest, now.
About wiped the smile off Bluepants
.. and it's gone.
The wick has slid to one side now... ohhh flair ups!
Redpants gave it up. He's out. Bluepants is now Flamehead and is bleeding wax like mad.
His arm's going... wait for it...
... and it's gone.
Last flicker...
All is quiet
The burn took about 20 minutes. I clicked the shutter when something changed.
I took a total of 42 pix. If you really want them all, I'll see about getting you a zip file.
If anyone wants to make a moving image or icon from these, go ahead.
If you have ideas for the fates of the other 4 "clown's" let me know.
