Whoa... this is strange.
I am sitting in my bedroom and up until a few seconds ago I was reading. In the next room over I can hear my mom watching tv, some sitcom or another. I can't really hear what the actors are saying, I just hear a few moments of mumbled dialouge and then I hear the laughing. It started to sound so strange once I put down my book and really started to listen to it; it's just the same thing over and over again. The constant ebb and flow of the the laughter reminds me of the same noise this little toy I used to have would make. It was a barbie dolphin that would make this eh-heeehehehe noise every time you pressed down the fin on it's back. It's interesting how sounds like that takes one back. I remember how my brother would always steal it before he would take a bath and while sitting in the tub he would press the fin over and over and over again as fast as he could to try and break it or just wear it out and eventually a few years later it did wear out and just made this ehhh noise. lol.
We had some fun with barbies growing up. We used to stick all of them (about 12)in this barbie convertible and shove it down the stairs. We loved seeing them shoot out of the car like crash test dummies! It was such a thrill.
But one time... oh Clayton made me soooo mad.
I had just recieved this new BEAUTIFUL bride barbie for some special occasion or another and would play with it non-stop. So of course when I came home from school a couple days later after coming home from school I went straight into my room to go play with her. I searched and searched, but to no avail; my bride barbie had gone missing. I heard Clayton laughing and playing with some friends in the back yard so I went to inquire as to whether or not he had seen my bride barbie. Upon entering the back yard I gasp in dismay for there is my brother playing baseball with my barbies HEAD!!!
UGH I was soooo upset with him. But I guess brothers will be brothers.
Good times, good times.
(Just to clarify... all these events occured about twelve years ago though, I must admit, we still do like crashing my cousin's barbies. lol)
