Riding lesson today
My day is so much better when I ride in the morning. I love my Horse and my Teacher is wonderful; she's so enthusiastic and gives me lots of praise on my riding. I mentioned this to her today, and she emphatically told me that she does *not* give praise where praise is not due! Meaning I'm riding well! Yay! Pretty good for someone who hasn't taken lessons in 18 years, eh?
My thighs feel like jelly again. I wonder how long they'll hurt this week? Last week it was from Friday morning until sometime Sunday. I know they didn't hurt Monday when I got up in the morning. Teacher had me on a lunge line for the beginning of the lesson, posting with both hands on my hips. Horse took a stumble, but I didn't fall off! Finally she took us off the line and let me trot around on my own. It didn't seem like a lot of work (to an outsider) but I was relieved when the lesson was over.
Am wearing Eclix today, by La Perla. It's a sort of citrus-vanilla, but very light on the citrus. Sweet, nice, pleasant. Rather a no-brainer as far as fragrance goes.
