In which she asks y'all for some ideas...
Me needs an idea for a Halloween costume, being that I'm getting a bit tired of my pirate cos already. I've only really "worn" it twice, once last Halloween, and just recently for the PotC: DMC premiere. I'll eventually get plenty of life outta it, seeing as PotC3 is due next year, plus countless Pirate Fests and Renn Faires.
I guess I just need something newish, maybe something along the lines of historical figure. Right now I've narrowed my list down to Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, Joan of Arc, and (the one I'm beginning to lean more towards) Amelia Earhart. (I really don't know why I'm inclined to think of ass-kickin' chicks. These things seriously just popped into my head.)
Amelia doesn't seem like it would be too hard a challenge, just a basic aviator get-up, (already got the boots!), but so far I've had no luck finding an authentic looking bomber jacket and/or matching flight cap. I like 'The Wizard of Oz'.
So the question I pose to all you screwballs is: "OMG, please say you have better ideas than me?!"
