In which she would like to barter with thee..

Oh my gosh, you guys. I totally have a new hobby/addiction, and it's eating my brains!

A few months ago (around the beginning of October) I sort of got hooked on trading Disney pins. I had been seeing all these people walking around the parks for the longest time, with these lanyards/hats/bags/vests/albums/you-name-it just covered in pins, and all my anti-conformity issues couldn't do a thing to not join in on the fun.

So I began buying up on pins that interested me. Just back at the end of January I even took a weekend off of work to drive up to Orlando byself in order to get my hands on an exclusive 'Expidition Everest - Sneak Peek 2006' lanyard and pin gift set, only available to passholders for three measley days. I'll tell ya, it's an expensive hobby.

Yet, up until this point, I had never actually made a trade, just bought ones that interested me. Main problem is, the majority of my favorite Disney topics (movies, characters, attractions, etc.) tend to not be very popular, or just extremely old school. I've been lucky a few times, (with pins ranging from the Headless Horseman to Tim Burton's Vincent), but nothing too major.

Anyhoo, I was going somewhere with this. The "Amy is addicted to _________" item of the month is online pin trading. I honestly don't know why I didn't look into this sooner. Seriously, after being on the site for only a few days, I've already had three offers made, two of which are just about this close to becoming reality.

For instance, one person is offering me Jake, of The Rescuers Down Under fame in exchange for Captain Hook, while another is offering Djali, (I *heart* him!) for Ariel. Sweetness, is it not?!

And in regards to the new X3 trailer to be shown during next Monday's 2 HOUR "24" slot: Can I get a whoop-whoop?!
