PROTIP: If you're going to pass out, wait until you're actually IN the hospital.
So. Yesterday. Yeeeaah.
Josh and I left at the ass crack of dawn (like, 4 in the am) to drive up to Gainesville to visit his dad up at the VA.* While the four of us were in ICU talking to him and seeing how he was doing, I, like the giant momo I am, PASS THE CRAP OUT. Dunno why. Nothing leading up to it, just... One minute I'm standing, and the next... BOOM! I land head first on the tile floor.
At least I picked a good spot. With 20-30 doctors/nurses/interns/etc. in the room, I got some pretty good response time, yanno?
Anyhoo, blood tests were more or less normal. My counts were low in like, two areas (though what they were, I couldn't tell you; the doctors Russian accent was so thick I could barely understand a word he was saying); but not really low enough to actually DO anything. Like we're talking 9/10ths of a point short. So yeah.
Probably just a combination of being in a hot room with 2 big jackets on and having naturally shitty blood.
*Of course now I realize that I have no backstory for this. Long story short, a couple of weeks ago Josh's dad had a heart attack and has been in the hospital since. Friday morning he had a double bypass. THIS IS WHY WE WERE THERE.
