When you're growing up as a kid, and you hear all those stories about how cool life is once you move away from your parents, and can spend whole weekends boozing, and what not, don't believe a word of it.
The cool kids are the ones who eat freshly made break-and-bake chocolate chip cookies while playing Mario Party 6 on GameCube. Especially since they don't know how to use a GameCube.
ION,
Wow TV is quickly becoming one of my favorite new websites. Thanks to them I can watch the entirety of the current season of 'Heroes' for free, without the clips being broken into segments, free of annoying foreign subtitles, and surprisingly good quality. So far I've worked my way up through chapter 7 ('Nothing to Hide'), and am currently getting ready to hunker down for chap. 8.
It's kinda weird, but the show isn't even finished with it's first season and some of these earlier chapters seem so old. Like, for the first couple of hours HRG doesn't sound anything like the HRG we all I know and love. I mean, it's obviously the same actor and everything, but his vocalization is just different. Same thing with some of the other characters, like Mohinder. You hear his accent go from Indian, to British, to American, and you're like , "WTF, where is this guy from again?" But then you realize you don't really care, since this is the hottest television cast ever assembled. (Take that, 'LOST'!)
Also, and I don't really know how I never noticed this before, but I cannot believe how much I freakin' love Radioactive Man Ted Sprague. And not just because he's the long-lost
Geico Caveman. (Although I admit, that kinda has something to do with it. Uhh, wait. No it doesn't.) But, he's just so... eeeeuuuughh. I totally heart him.
And OMG, all I wanna do is walk up to Matt and Jan and pinch their cheeks! Whee, so cute!
[EDIT: Okay, I totally love this mood-theme, but I seriously need an all-Sylar/Gabriel/fake!Zane/fake!Suresh/Drew O'Grady/Adam-from-24 theme. Because I want Zach Quinto to have my bushy-eyebrowed babies. And they will all have wonderfully bulbous schnozes, be technical wizards, and have bisexual Guinea Pigs named Freedom.]
