Karkat: Apply to game.

Your Name/Alias: Hinoryu
Age: 20

Character: Karkat Vantas/carcinoGeneticist
Series: Homestuck
Character Age: Six Alternian solar sweeps, which just happens to be equivalent to thirteen Earth years.
Canon: Homestuck is the story of a boy who wants to play an online game with his friends. Then meteors come and destroy all of civilization, which actually does not put a stop to that plan at all. Several ontological paradoxes later, the boy and his friends have become quite strong, taking their places as destined heroes, and dealing with the trolls who annoy them over their chat programs.

Karkat is a troll. In the most literal sense, he comes from a planet of trolls (Alternia), he's got horns and fangs, and he is incredibly angry all the time. Despite his constant anger, he has a surprising interest in romance, enjoying terrible romantic comedy movies enough to become quite good at solving his friends' romantic problems. He also is prone to rambling on for quite some time on strange tangents, and through Weird Time Shit, manages to hold long arguments with himself. He types, and somehow manages to speak, ENTIRELY IN CAPS WITH A GRAY FONT. Being an alien, his biology is pretty weird, and he makes common references to it, looking down on humans and their stupid human whatevers. Though for all his looking down on humans, their differences are mostly superficial, and just involve having strange names for things- Fingers are prongs, windpipes are chitinous windholes, bathtubs are ablution traps, and so on. The main difference between trolls and humans are in terms of romance and reproduction, but explaining those in detail would take an entire solar sweep.

Note: The chat program Karkat uses, Trollian, allows for people to make memo boards, which can be responded to from any point in the timeline. You can then respond to yourself from various points on the timeline if you're so inclined. Weird time shit abounds.

Sample Post:
CURRENT carcinoGeneticist [CCG] RIGHT NOW opened memo on board CAMPFUCKUDIE
CCG: OKAY WHAT IS THIS.
CCG: I DID NOT MAKE THIS BOARD.
CCG: I THINK.
CCG: I JUST SHOWED UP HERE AND THIS BOARD WAS ALREADY MADE. WHICH IS WEIRD.
CCG: I MUST HAVE MADE THIS IN THE FUTURE. YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD HAVE HAD THE COURTESY TO WARN MYSELF.
CCG: OR EVEN IF I DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT THIS BOARD, AT LEAST I SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS STUPID PLANET I'VE SHOWN UP IN. WHAT IS THIS, THE LAND OF STUPID AND BULLSHIT?
CCG: OH LOOK THERE ARE THE BULLS. I WAS RIGHT, THERE'S THEIR EXCREMENT. WOW. WAY TO GO, FUTURE ME, YOU SHOULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING.
CCG: UNLESS YOU'RE BUSY WITH A BONE BULGE DOWN YOUR STUPID PROTEIN CHUTE. GOOD JOB ON THAT. I'LL JUST HAVE TO WARN ME ANYWAY.
FUTURE carcinoGeneticist [FCG] 5 HOURS FROM NOW responded to memo.
FCG: IF YOU COULD DO THAT, I ALREADY WOULD HAVE, SMARTASS.
CCG banned FCG from responding to memo.
CCG: THANK YOU, ME, FOR THAT STUNNING DISPLAY OF KNOWLEDGE OF TEMPORAL AWARENESS. WE BOTH ALREADY KNEW THAT THOUGH. IN FACT, I THINK I SAID SO A FEW TIMES.
CCG: OR ELSE I WILL.
CCG: FUCK, I'M GETTING SIDETRACKED. WHAT WAS I EVEN DOING HERE.
CCG: BESIDES ADMIRING THE STUPID SHAMBLING THINGS. WHAT ARE THOSE SUPPOSED TO BE, ZOMBIES?
CCG: WAY TO GO, SHITTY HORROR MOVIE WORLD.
CCG: IS IT TIME TO END THIS SHITTY BOARD YET?
CCG: THESE WERE TERRIBLE IDEAS FROM THE START. I THINK I SAID SO ALREADY.
CCG: UGH, WHAT AM I EVEN TALKING ABOUT ANYMORE.
CCG: HAVE I MADE ANY PROGRESS ON THIS THING AT ALL? NO, I'M JUST ARGUING WITH MYSELF AGAIN. JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER MEMOS. I GUESS THAT MAKES THIS ONE EVEN MORE USELESS THAN ALL THE REST.
CCG: I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I MADE THIS THING IN THE FIRST PLACE. OTHER THAN TEMPORAL PREDESTINATION. WAS I TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING?
CCG: I GUESS IF I WAS, I WOULD KNOW ABOUT IT BY NOW. WAY TO GO, ME, YOU'VE REACHED NEW HEIGHTS IN WASTING TIME.
CCG: I'M GOING TO CLOSE THIS NOW BEFORE ANYONE ELSE SEES THIS.
CCG: IF ANYONE ELSE EVEN WANTS TO READ THIS STEAMING LOAD ANYWAY.
CCG: THAT'S SOME COMFORT, I GUESS. NO ONE'S GOING TO EVER SEE THIS.

CCG closed memo.
