I’m uncertain if this topic has ever come up before, but is there any consideration of the disabled placed in choosing the Threshold site? I’m asking because it seems very likely that I’ll be using a mobility scooter for transport by that point. Although I’m looking at a tough and durable scooter intended for outdoor use as well as indoor, I’m not going to be able to handle extreme slopes.
But without the scooter, I can’t stand for long. Nor can I walk far at all. That’s the only thing really in my way - getting the scooter there and deploying it successfully and safely. My other medical issue has already been tested on camping trips successfully. (I’m insulin-dependant, I need 2 injections a day. But that travels well.)
I realize I may have to be content with sending
ebonhost and waving from afar. I can cope. :)
