Yesterday the inductor valve on the furnace got stuck. I kept feeling chilly and looked at the thermostat and said "Jeepers". Called up teh heating guys.. the oncall called back and I told him what was up - he said he was swamped, but I sound like a smart guy unlike most of the other clients he needed to hit so he told me how to fix it to get going. Well, it worked. YAY.
Then onto today.. my snowblower tipped over. So I turned it upright as one may be inclined to do so. Then whoomp. The muffler area went up in big flames. I say "oh my" and ran into the kitchen to get the fire extinguisher. Cool huh? Now the fuel line is melty, some wires are melty and what I think is the fuel filter are ruined. Going to call Airens tomorrow to see if warranty will cover that or not. Ideally, I don't think it should go up in flames like that. But that is just me.
Then the upstairs was pretty warm and the zone was not calling for heat. I go down stairs and the damper for that area (which we had replaced less than 2 months ago) is dead. It has these handy dandy status lights on it so you know if its open/closed. Yeah, both off. greeeeeat. So I'll call the heating guys tomorrow and get them to fix it.. It better be under warranty.
I'm supposed to be relaxing.. yesterday was rather relaxiful. Unfortunately, the girls are in cahoots in working together to ensure they cause me to get up a few times a night, which is super. oh well.
back to work tomorrow.
work work work work work work work work work.
