Today's Theme: Apocalypse!

A Sonnet for Robert Oppenheimer Part One, Part Two by Gaia - A brilliant and stunning retake an remix of Trinity, powerfully written and extremely well executed. 1/3 of my love for this story goes to the beautiful and perfectly appropriate title.

Flipside by Kitsune_tsuki - And a very bleak and well portrayed flipside it is.

The New Frontier Part One, Part Two by Harriet Spy - This piece begs for backstory so much it makes you want to cry, for all the tantalizing bits and pieces that the reader is given, but it is that very sparingness that makes the story so powerful. The sheer amount of pain and survivor's guilt John doesn't show to anybody is wonderful.

Standing in for Atlas by ? - Oh, wonderful. Wonderful, wonderful. If it came down to it, I have no doubt that Rodney McKay could and would push the button, because Rodney can do the math of pragmatism. But I rather imagine his reaction would be much like this portrayal. Very nicely done.

I Feel the Earth Move Part One, Part Two, Part Three by Janusglance - The author states at the beginning, "This is just one vision of the future. Pretend, for a moment, that you got stranded somewhere for a few years, only to return and watch the series finale of SGA without having a chance to catch up." Heed that warning. Having said that, I really liked how this story unfolded.
