The first picture was taken just after peak using #10 welder's glass.
The 2nd is a double exposure caught by filtering only a portion of lens with the glass. You can see two exposures - the bright, unfiltered eclipse, right-side up, with the moon in the lower left quadrant of sun, and near the top of the photo you can see the filtered, non-reflexed (double reflexed? - upside-down to us, right-side up to the camera) capture of the eclipse.
