Red Flowers Part One, Part Two, Part Three by temaris - This story reads almost exactly like an episode. Excellent plot, characterization, banter, timing. Beautiful and strong. The team has to negotiate with a planet where trade is everything.
Drawing the Line by rhymer23 - Fast paced with high tension; well done. Rodney and Sheppard break the rules and are sentenced to death.
Cycles by diamond-raven - John is a prisoner for years, and life does and doesn't move on.
Faith by sardonicsmiley - Christ. Rodney and his science team are captured on what is supposed to be an uninhabited planet. This story isn't for the feint of heart; it is visceral, raw and horrifying, but still a must read.
Forget Me Not by maisierita - (Five parts, linked.) Rodney and John are prisoners in a penal system where wiping memories is commonplace. This story keeps you on the edge for quite a while as you follow John and Rodney through the ups and downs of connecting and reconnecting and trying to find their places. It's sad and scary and warm and a damned fine story.
