stories from a coffeeshop
So i'm up in lexington all weekend after having two+ day off. however i totally forgot my phone at home so yeah. it's all good though seeing as how right now is the only free time i have with work and all.
i just went to teachabroad.com and sent an e-mail out about full time teching positions in Italy for next year (thanks a million Jess!). options are always nice and, hey, if it's compensated and room and board is taken care of i could do much much worse, especially since i'll already be in italy this summer.
oh and the fun note of the day regarding grad school: i got an e-mail from one of my recommenders on the 18th saying that she was just setting down to start my recommendations (note they were due on the 15th but whatev the grad schools seem to be understanding). in the e-mail dr. fulbrook said she couldn't find the packet of info i sent her (i never got it confirmed that she received it however i sent hers out with the other two and they reached their destinations so i just assumed). so needless to say i had to send her another one and considering i found this out n the friday before a holiday weekend... well the grad schools will be waiting for quite some time, needless to say.
