Grad school:
Regret to Inform: IU, UVM, OSU
Pleased to inform: OU (with some kind of funding)
Still waiting to hear back from UK and NYU (hopeful and unlikely, respectively). Still haven't heard back from the Italian Summer Camp program, but don't know what's realistic in terms of them getting back to me. Still waiting to hear from Common Grounds as well.
I'm seriously considering staying around next year and really thinking hard and trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. Is culinary school going to fit in? if so when and how? There's a new Baking and Pastry Arts certificate program at the CIA in California (1 year long, costs about 20,000). Will that be enough to land me a decent job? What about teaching abroad next year? There are ways around getting a work Visa in Italy that are pretty well known/ well used. hmmm so many questions...
I feel like I made all of the choices I amde for all of the wrong reasons, or at least not for any of the right ones. I started as a CS major not planning on using it, then fell into English because, mostly, it was the antithesis of CS, plus it was something I was always good at. But what about my future? What about what I really want to do?
