So Fredericksburg takes a certain pride in being a ghost town...
I got an impulse to do something domestic, and bought a crochet kit and thread to make a scarf. And I told my "aunt" Dawn that for christmas I wanted to learn to knit.
Now all I'll need to be a complete grandmother is a rocking chair and an oven full of cookies. And then I can borrow someone else's grand kids, plop them into high chairs, and tell them tales about the good old days when pirates and ninjas played chess together and unicorns were kept on the front lawn to keep the grass down since this was well before the invention of the lawn mower. I've been a bit senile for ages.
And a cat. They always have a cat.
