(no subject)
This morning I waited on two of the drunkest people that I've ever seen. After bringing out their food, I went back into the kitchen to refill their drinks, and when I came back, I witnessed one of the girls passing out into a hamburger and fries. Oh... it was HILARIOUS! And yes, I do feel bad about the fact that I totally laughed in her face. It just took me by surprise. I didn't know what else to do. I mean, how would you have reacted if you'd have watched a girl pass out into a hamburger and ten minutes later, lift her head up with a huge piece of romain lettuce stuck to her cheek? ....
EXACTLY MY POINT. You would have laughed too... granted you would have probably been able to control yourself a little better than I did.
But, hey, I still got a sweet tip from them, so I guess they weren't too insulted/humiliated.
I apologized to her later, though. Her reaction to this was " Oh... it's no big deal. I've done it countless times before." At which point we both burst into laughter.
Other than this bit of excitement, work was work. I just got off, and I don't have to go back until monday or tuesday.
I've gotta go catch some sleep.
