To be perfectly honest, it wasn't the driving I was bothered by. I wanted to try my new car out anyway. It was only the last minute nature of the plan and the fact that you seemed to be telling me we were going rather than asking that took me off guard.
That and the fact that I was going to be stuck in a car with you for several hours.
