[P-part commentlog? Part communicator actions? She's just quietly standing near the boat's railing, where she seems to be always staring off into the distance. Sometimes she'll stop to stare at the other crew members like a little creeper. But, hearing that transmission... she pulls out her own communicator and punches in a few keys. She was having trouble speaking with Yuuko, Xi, and Hiccup earlier.]

They cannot hear you clearly, Mister First Mate.

[He's fiddling with the communicator, trying to hear other transmissions that aren't coming in very clearly at all. Which is frustrating, but he sort of gets why. But when he sees the response from Rika, his head jolts up, scouring the nearby area to see where she is.

Eventually, he spots her, not bothering to use the communicator to respond. Because she's right there and all.]

... You could've just said that out loud, you know.

[And she gives a little wave of her hand when his gaze meets hers. Hello Mister First Mate! She quietly stares at him for a moment, then back down at her communicator, then back up again. Despite what he says, she starts typing in another message over the device. Still not talking.]

There are other ways to communicate with the people that are still on land, you know. Ni-paa~☆. [She was trying to drop a hint for him to use text instead.]

[This prompts him stare - almost blankly - at Rika for a second. He still doesn't understand why she's typing on the communicator when they're both capable of speaking to one another.

After he reads it, his eyebrow arches slightly. Oh, right. He can use text to talk to people. He still doesn't reply using the communicator though, because he just thinks that's dumb.]

[After her conversation with a few others remaining in Discedo, she had already known that typing was a more sufficient method of communication between land and the waters at the moment. But, giving the answer right off the bat isn't very fun. It's not stupid to her. This just might be one of Rika's ways of "playing".]

[Still spoken out loud. He really doesn't get that this is just some kind of game to Rika. So in all essence, it's really just more frustrating for Zoro than anything else. His one-track mind is clearly not very helpful right now.

He goes quiet for a couple of minutes, playing with the communicator for a few minutes as he replies to a couple of the others in text. Which, surprisingly enough for him, works. He smirks a little.]

So I guess we'll just have to use that until we get back. Whenever that is. Someone better let Luffy know.

[It's more thrilling for her to hide the answer. Surprises are fun. Tucking away her communicator, Rika claps her tiny hands together to give Zoro a round of applause. It's as if she was making noise as some kind of prize for figuring out the answer.]

Yaaaaay! Clap-clap-clap! Mister First Mate earned himself a big gold star! [Finally, she speaks. It really isn't that big of a discovery, yet she displays childlike excitement about it anyway.]
