Firefighter by “awanderingbard” PG-13 - Pepper Potts goes on a job interview. Tony hides in a closet. Excellent, pitch-perfect. This is exactly how that interview must have gone.
by mspotts -PG- Pepper gets kidnapped and is disappointed with the results. And Tony bursts through a wall. Hilarious and great characterization.
Pride and Prejudice
A Most Convenient Mishap by Rebecca E. - PG-13, maybe R?- This story starts on shaky ground, the basic premise being that Elizabeth and Darcy accidentally spend a night in bed together and are therefore forced to marry. However, the writing is lovely and the story is very sexy. A satisfying P&P what-if.
The Rich Are Always Respectable" by Peradan - PG-13- An AU in which Lady Catherine never visits Elizabeth, and Darcy and Elizabeth never connect. Darcy ends up married to someone else, and the story goes from there for a really long time. I will promise that it is eventually Darcy/Elizabeth. I was really impressed with this story because it kept my attention when so many things were against it. It's very long, there's a lot of original characters, kids, etc. But the original characters are really well done, and above all the Darcy POV is uniquely believable. Worth spending a day reading, as I did when I wasn't feeling good.
The Season of Courtship also by Peradan - PG-13- Between Darcy and Elizabeth's engagement and their marriage. A romantic story, features some of the same original characters as the story above. Quite enjoyable.
Singin In The Rain
And write that symphony by cimness -NC-17- Probably the best Singin In The Rain fic I've read, certainly the longest. Kathy/Don/Cosmo, as it should be. I like this story for the relationship's slow build. Also very sexy.

Laundry Night by damalur - NC-17- Billy/Penny. Awesome, hot, well-written story. Love this to pieces!
Villians by entangled_now - NC-17- Billy/Adam Monroe (Crossover with Heroes) - Hot, hot, hot. Adam Monroe seduces Billy for his own purposes. I haven't even kept up with Heroes and I still loved this.
My Many Faces Are the Same by entangled_now -PG-13 - Character study of Dr. Horrible, post Act III. Dark, sad, heartbreaking.
Discworld
Close Your Eyes and Think of Ankh-Morpork by possibly_thrice - Vetinari/Vimes NC-17 -Nicely written, although I've seen the premise before. Great characterization.
Crossovers
June 30th by annlarimer -Doctor Who/Hot Fuzz crossover, PG. Brilliant, pure brilliance. Absolutely perfect and hilarious and sweet and adorable.
In which Snape befriends an old grey donkey, and life is gloomy, as usual by gm_weasley - G - The title mostly says it all. Snape meets Eeyore, and it is sublime.
