Quick summary of events over the last month or so:
- Bought WoW (Night Elf Druid named Tanthalis on the Draka server), am ridiculously addicted but not so much that I don't have a social life.
- Got fired from Cash Wise for being sick too much. Turns out that their policy was that I can't call in sick more than five times a month, which wasn't the case in my firing, oddly enough. Gonna take advantage of their fuckup and go grab some Unemployment cash so's I can push my car payments back even more. (Federal Income Tax plus State Income Tax plus SSI makes for a nearly debt-free Sam.)
- Am currently looking for jobs.
- Am actually managing whatever cash I have at least a little better than I used to. i.e. no stopping at Burger King or McDonald's on the way home. Only go to KFC for $.99 Snackers if I'm out and about and have had nothing to eat.
- Am seriously dying of Infinite Crisis need. I have "Identity Crisis," "The O.M.A.C. Project," and "Villians: United" so far, but with no job thus far, I will thankfully be able to collect more in TPB by the time I am financially stable. :)
Still a bit weird to see Wonder Woman slit Superman's throat with her tiara.
